I would like to sell a product on its own ecommerce site. How can I set up a partner programm to my site?
I’m thinking about a poster site. This will be a unique product. This poster will be for sale on its own site for 19.95$ plus shipping. I would like to set up a partner program for other web site owner to display a banner or a link to my e-commerce site to make money, I will be willing to share 50% commission. Is this possible? Is there a softare or website that can track the sales? Is it easy to set up? How much it cost? Do you have some recommendation?
Merci in advance!

Administrator answers:
You need to hire an ecommerce service from a Secure etransaction providers.
I know there are two best ecommerce site 1) http://2co.com 2) http://www.charge.com/ (Free Now)
They charge credit/debit cards to sell your products and send your money your bank account.
If you are eager enough and want to sell with 50% commission then clickbank.net is good. Register your product and sell your product with ease.
You also need a SSL certificate to Secure your transaction system but it is only in case of your own card processing system prerequisite.
Yes You can start a refferal program or an affiliate program through advertisement on Yahoo, Google and Adbrite.
Google works 5 times more than its counterparts.
You can receive the customers this way and through email subscription or from refferals.
To register a domain and to acquire a SSL License go to http://registerfly.com

Betty asks…
ecommerce partner?
where can i find the partner to start a website?

Administrator answers:
You should do this on your own if you don’t already know and trust somebody to be your parter. If you need to finance your business get a SBA loan or some other kind of financing. It will shock you how easy the money is to come by. Otherwise, if you are having concerns over developing the website, try a prebuilt e-commerce package like Volusion or Monster Commerce.

In Florida: What step-by-step, instructions does the beginner need to know when starting ecommerce?
the business is still on “drawing board”, business is artwork. I have a partner in NC, what conflicts will there be? What legalities & contracts are there? What are all the gory details of small e-business that sells artworks? What are the tricks of the trade? Loopholes that hurt? Loopholes that help? Will someone give free consultations? The more information/links/emails the better. NO pyramid scams or multi-level marketing please.

Administrator answers:
Their is no cookie cutter business model for any business but I will give some suggestions. First off a partner in another state may work but in my experience in order to get a business started you need people that can communicate effectively and being in another state will slow communication. I would highly suggest getting a lawyer that knows business to draw up contracts and setup an LLC or S Corporation to save on taxes. You will need to have a way for people to communicate with you if their is a problem with the product. As far as free consultations you would probably have better luck talking to your chamber of commerce and go to a few meetings with other business people to ask for their opinion on what they would do.
